Is there a difference between JPG and JPEG?
No, there is absolutely no difference between JPG and JPEG files. They are the exact same image format. The .jpg extension was originally created because older Windows operating systems only supported three-letter file extensions. Today, both are used interchangeably.
Will converting a JPG to JPEG reduce the image quality?
